Hauxton Trout Fishery Syndicate
- Two very attractive lakes of 3½ and 2½ acres.
- Private syndicate limited to 30 members.
- Run for over 40 years as a very friendly syndicate.
- 2019 season: February 17th to October 31st. Closed from June 15th to September 15th, when warm water precludes good fishing.
- Fishing from dawn until 1 hour after sunset.
- Regularly stocked through the season with 1¼ lb - 4lb rainbows.
- Some brown trout of 1¼ lb - 1¾ lb stocked early in the season.
- A few larger trout are stocked: best fish caught so far for 2019 season is 6lb 4oz.
- Limit: 5 fish per day – 8 fish per week.
- All fish to be killed.
- Enjoyed by experienced anglers and very suitable for those taking up fly fishing.
- Easy access for disabled members.
- Members only car park.
- Opportunity for guests accompanying a member.
- Attractive lodge for shelter and recording catches.
- Wonderful wildlife with kingfishers, little and great crested grebe, warblers, grass snakes, 17 species of butterfly and many damselflies and dragonflies.
